DMCA & Copyright Complaints
Effective: June 5, 2026
Cyber+ responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar laws. This page tells you how to send a takedown notice, how to counter-notice, and what we'll do.
Designated agent
DMCA notices must be sent to our designated copyright agent:
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME] Attn: Copyright Agent [MAILING ADDRESS] Email: dmca@gocyberplus.com
What a valid notice must contain
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a takedown notice must include all of:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (a URL is fine).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with enough detail to locate it (a URL on gocyberplus.com).
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Incomplete notices may be returned for correction. Knowingly false notices can subject you to liability for damages including costs and attorneys' fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt within two business days.
- If the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously.
- We notify the user who posted the material and forward the notice (redacting your direct phone number on request).
- If the user files a valid counter-notice, we restore the material in 10–14 business days unless you file suit.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL it was at.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone, email, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in [VENUE] (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Cyber+ may be found).
Send counter-notices to dmca@gocyberplus.com.
Repeat infringer policy
Cyber+ accounts that accrue multiple valid takedowns will be suspended and may be terminated. We log every takedown against the posting account.
Outside the United States
We respond to comparable copyright complaints under EU/UK and other applicable jurisdictions. Send the equivalent of the items above to dmca@gocyberplus.com.
Replace the bracketed placeholders with your real entity, address, and venue, and register your designated agent with the US Copyright Office at dmca.copyright.gov before you go live — without registration, you do not get the safe-harbor protection.
